Who we are

This website, martechholdings.org, is operated by Martech Holdings Incorporated LLC ("Martech," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or sign up for our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have. Martech provides educational content about futures markets. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us. When you sign up for our newsletter, fill out a form, comment on the blog, create a site account, enroll in a program, or email us, we collect what you provide. This may include your name, email address, and the content of your message. If we send you an invoice, we also collect the billing details needed to complete it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting platform (Wix) and its tools automatically collect technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.

Information we do not collect. We do not ask for or store brokerage, trading, or prop-firm account credentials. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers or other government ID numbers. Payment card details for any purchase are handled by the payment processor, not stored by us.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to: send the newsletter and other updates you asked for; reply to your questions and messages; run, secure, and improve the site, including understanding which pages are useful; manage site accounts, blog comments, and program enrollment; send invoices and keep the records required for taxes and accounting; and meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

We do not use your information to give personalized trading or investment advice. Content on this site is educational and the same for every visitor.

COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND DO NOT TRACK

The site uses cookies and similar technologies, set by Wix, to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure visits through Wix's built-in analytics. Some pages show embedded content, such as our Instagram feed, which may let that service set its own cookies under its own policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond, so the site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER

We send the newsletter only to people who sign up for it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also unsubscribe by emailing us at the address below. Newsletter content is general market education. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell any futures contract or other financial product.

REFERRAL LINKS AND OTHER SITES

Some pages link to funding firms, trading platforms, and other outside services. Some of these are referral links: if you sign up through one, Martech may receive a referral benefit, at no extra cost to you. The outside company may use cookies or tracking to record that you came from our site. We do not control those sites. Their own privacy policies and terms apply once you leave martechholdings.org, so please review them and confirm any offer's terms directly with the provider.

HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only: with service providers who run the site for us, such as Wix for hosting, forms, email, and analytics (see the Wix Privacy Policy at wix.com/about/privacy), and payment processors for invoices, who may use it only to provide their services; when required by law, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Martech, our visitors, or others; and in a business transfer, if Martech is merged, acquired, or sells its assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected before the transfer.

YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct information that is wrong, delete your information (unless we must keep it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons), or stop sending you emails. Email your request to the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we aim to respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

California and other U.S. state residents. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights. We honor the requests above for all visitors, wherever they live. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own direct marketing.

CHILDREN, SECURITY, AND RETENTION

Children. The site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security. We use reasonable measures, including the protections our hosting platform provides, to safeguard your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. Invoice and accounting records are kept as long as tax law requires.

CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update this policy as the site and its services change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date below. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email.
