Meet the Founder
Hard is relative to knowledge.
Customers tell me all the time, "Your job looks hard." I tell them hard is relative to knowledge. If you don't know how to use a shovel, digging a hole will drive you nuts. Once you know the technique, it's the easiest thing in the world.
That idea is why Martech Holdings exists.
Who I am
I'm Anthony Marchand. I served four years in the Marine Corps as a radio operator, including 10 months in Kuwait, and finished at the top of both my radio and multichannel radio classes. The Marines gave me an attitude I still carry: charge the hill, and never quit.
Since 2019 I've worked as a residential and commercial plumber. Some stretches I'm on call 21 to 30 days straight. I trade futures at night and build Martech in whatever hours are left.
The morning I decided
About two years ago, nothing dramatic happened. I just woke up and realized I'd spent my whole life working for other people. I wanted a skill that would give me real choices: something saved when an opportunity knocks, and enough to stock up when the milk goes on sale.
The honest part
I thought trading would be easy. Line goes up, sell; line goes down, buy. My ego was my biggest mistake. It was like reading half a book and telling everyone what I knew.
I've failed hundreds of evaluations and earned a handful of payouts. The first one taught me that if I could do it once, I could learn to do it again.
Today I trade with rules I'm still working to keep:
• I only trade when I can give the chart my full attention.
• After two losses on the same idea, I'm done until the next 4-hour candle closes.
• I don't go "full tilt" on a hunch.
• I set my own daily loss limit at a fraction of what the platform allows: $300 on a 50K account. When I hit it, my account is still intact, and that means I still have another chance.
I'm still learning, and I'll keep showing the work.
Why it's free
Nothing I teach is a secret. Volume profile, market structure, risk and the weekly calendar have been around as long as markets have. What was hard was finding it all in one place, explained plainly. So that's what I build. The Sunday Prep is a 5-minute read for the week ahead, covering gold, Nasdaq, the S&P 500 and crude. It lands before the markets open Sunday afternoon.
The education stays free. I'm not selling a strategy.
Grace
My faith in God is the foundation of my life. On a losing trade, I try to stop and say, "Thank you, Lord, for the ability and the means to place this trade at all." A bad trade isn't who you are. You're a trader on a journey who hit a roadblock, and you can fill the tank and keep going.
Who this is for
People who want more than life has handed them. People who want to change the trajectory of their life and are willing to do the work.
Off the charts
I just upgraded my ham radio license to General. I love anything in tech and science, and I ride bikes when I can. The best days are at the lake with my wife, playing backgammon.
Why "Martech Holdings"?
"Mar" is for Marchand, my last name, and "tech" is for my love of technology. "Holdings" is the long view: it's meant to be the birthplace of successes yet to come.
Don't take my word for any of this because I'm a plumber. Take it because I show my sources.
